If it's Sunday afternoon in the fall and winter, there are two things a bar needs: all the football games and a bunch of chicken wings. Beer goes without saying.
So a couple of tips, bars. If you have ten large televisions, buy Sunday Ticket. It will probably pay for itself in people who don't leave because you only have the national games. Also, if you serve food, don't restrict people to brunch until 3 pm. Nobody wants to eat french toast while watching football unless he is on the west coast.
Oh, and: make sure you put the games on as soon as they start, because even reasonable people will get annoyed by watching really fake golf events when they could be watching real football.
